Die Berufsschulen selbst sind in den letzten Jahren durch verschiedene Reformen gegangen, daher soll ein besonders Augenmerk auf den sog. "Handlungsorientierten Unterricht" geworfen werden, da dieser gewisse hnlichkeiten mit Gaudigs Modell erkennen lsst. Zwar sind die verschiedensten Richtungen der Reformpdagogik in den allgemein bildenden, in den Grund wie auch den Vorschulen immer wieder diskutiert, praktisch angewendet und kritisch gewrdigt worden, eine Anwendung im Bereich der beruflichen Schulen fand und findet allerdings kaum statt. Daher stellt sich ebenso die Frage, warum dies so ist, zumal die Wrdigung der Reformpdagogik in anderen Schularten eine Vielzahl von Publikationen hervorgebracht hat. Die sich verstrkende Bedeutung des beruflichen Schulsektors im deutschsprachigen Raum kann auch als Chance gesehen werden, die bis jetzt als wenig experimentierfreudig eingestuften beruflichen Schulen auch im Hinblick auf neue oder auch alte reformpdagogische Anstze hin zu sensibilisieren.
