The preservation and management of natural ecosystems was proposed in the 1990s following the adoption of the viewpoint that an ecosystem is a single network within a specific region. With regards to Northeast Asia, there has been an emphasis on environmental cooperation with the increase in transboundary pollution due to rapid development, and rapid destruction of the natural environment. As for the methods of analysis, we selected stable habitats for four priority species were selected to for analysis using overlay analysis using remote sensing method. The results of the analyses of the ecological networks in the whole Northeast Asia region display key areas partly dispersed in the Korean Peninsula. Due to actual condition of the ecological networks, most of the Northeast Asia region, including the Korean Peninsula, was in poor condition; requiring appropriate measures and their implementation as soon as possible. Also, the research revealed that further investigation and research is necessary with regards to the border areas that were identified as key areas.
