Cameras capturing video sequences are nowadays used in almost any places like airports, train stations, banks and even in shops. These cameras are usually mounted with wide fields of views in order to cover as much of the scene as possible. Therefore, there are large distances between the cameras and the objects. The immediate consequence is that the objects of interest in such videos are usually very small. One of the most important objects in such video sequences is the human face. This book is devoted to the tasks of finding facial images in videos coming from surveillance cameras, logging them and producing a highresolution face image from the logged ones.
