Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2006 im Fachbereich VWL Auenhandelstheorie, Auenhandelspolitik, Note: 1,3, Universitt Hohenheim (Auenwirtschaft), Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Auslndischen Direktinvestitionen (englisch: Foreign Direct Investment (FDI)) deutscher Unternehmen und deren Auswirkungen auf den heimischen Arbeitsmarkt wird in der ffentlichkeit und Politik erhebliche Aufmerksamkeit zuteil. Der anhaltende Trend deutscher Unternehmen Produktion im Rahmen des so genannten offshoring ins Ausland zu verlagern, geht mit einem betrchtlichen Aufbau von Arbeitspltzen im Ausland einher. Diese Entwicklung ist besonders durch die Befrchtung beherrscht, dass heimische Arbeitspltze in Niedriglohnlnder verlagert werden und Deutschland somit zu einem Verlierer der Globalisierung werden knnte. In diesem Zusammenhang titelte die Wochenzeitung "Die Zeit" in einer ihrer Ausgaben: "Die Arbeit wandert aus" und beschreibt darin die in Deutschland herrschende Stimmung als zwischen bertriebener Befrchtung und berechtigter Sorge liegend. FDI bilden ein zentrales Kriterium zur Bestimmung multinationaler Unternehmensttigkeit. Multinationale Unternehmen (MNU) liegen dann vor, "wenn Unternehmen im Ausland investiert haben und dort wertschpfende Aktivitten eigenverantwortlich betreiben". MNU befinden sich beim Eintritt in auslndische Mrkte zunchst im Nachteil gegenber lokal ansssigen Unternehmen, da sie z. B. mit den gesetzlichen Rahmenbedingungen des Auslands nicht so gut vertraut sind. Es ist somit zu hinterfragen, weshalb diese dennoch FDI ttigen. Ziel dieser Arbeit ist es, mgliche Determinanten bzw. Bestimmungsgrnde fr diese Art von Kapitalbewegung zu bestimmen und sie auf ihre empirische Evidenz zu untersuchen.
