A number of literatures on determining the success of the UN humanitarian intervention operations (UNHIOs) have identified large expenditures, the issues of the conflict, the total number of armed forces and civilian personnel deployed as well as the type of conflict as the main causes of any outcome of the UNHIO. The analyses of this study were focused primarily on determining if the success of the UN humanitarian intervention operations is a function of the interactions of the five factors or to determine causeeffect relationship. Based on two main hypotheses, a series of multivariate logistic regression models were developed with the UN humanitarian intervention operation outcome as the primary variable of interest, interacting with the UN humanitarian intervention operation process (process factors) and that of the conflict (contextual factors) as possible intervening variables to determine correlation and causal significance. The bivariate logistic regression analysis provided evidence of no statistical significant relationship between the five (5) intervening variables and the UN humanitarian intervention operation outcome.
