Attribuere' heit ein Merkmal hinzufgen', ,mit einem Attribut, einer Eigenschaft versehen', demzufolge ist Attribut eine einem Substantiv, Adjektiv oder Adverb beigefgte nhere Bestimmung, es ist eine Beifgung1. hnlich wird das Attribut im Lexikon der Sprachwissenschaft definiert2. Es ist eine Beifgung, nicht selbstndige nhere Bestimmung von nominalen Satzgliedern, daher wird es auch Gliedteil" genannt. Es ist die Bezeichnung fr Beifgungen zu jeder syntaktischen Kategorie im Satz, mit Ausnahme des Verbs, und es charakterisiert Personen oder Sachverhalte hinsichtlich bestimmter Merkmale. Seine semantische Funktion ist in der Regel die der Prdikation. Ebenso im Handbuch der deutschen Grammatik wird der Attributsbegriff auf das lateinische attribuere' zurckgefhrt, was zuteilen', als Eigenschaft beilegen' heit3. Attribute, weil sie keine selbstndigen Satzteile, sondern stets von anderen Teilen des Satzes von Subjekt, Objekt, Prdikativum, Adverbialbestimmung oder einem anderen Attribut abhngig sind, stellen normalerweise freie Zustze dar, die zu einem anderen Teil des Satzes hinzugefgt werden, um ihn nher zu bestimmen. Nach der kurzen Einleitung in diesen Bereich der Syntax und der Begriffserklrung mchte ich gleich meine Hausarbeit mit einer Einfhrung in die Attributsproblematik beginnen.
