Ce constat nous rappelle comment, voici peu d'annes, la France, avec des moyens matriels trs infrieurs ceux d'aujourd'hui, avait su se rendre capable de faire entendre fortement sa voix dans un monde tumultueux. Dans l'histoire de la civilisation chrtienne, dans l'histoire de l'Europe, la France a toujours su faire prvaloir les principes suprieurs. C'est l sa mission. C'est l ce que les peuples ont toujours espr de ce pays singulier, nation qui toujours a su prter ' sa voix ceux qui n'en ont pas ', suivant la parole du gnral de Gaulle et qui toujours, depuis le plus haut Moyen ge, a su se dresser contre toutes les tentatives impriales.
