En este trabajo se hace un claro intento de planificar y organizar una llamada 'Unidad Didctica' en vela. De esta manera, lo que se trata es de programar desde un principio, tanto los conocimientos tericos que nuestros alumnos deben saber para la prctica de este deporte, como la posterior progresin metodologa de la prctica en agua, para facilitar, de esta manera, el proceso de aprendizaje de nuestros alumnos. En este caso, se trata de un trabajo sobre una maniobra como es la virada por avante, pero esta metodologa se debera seguir en la enseanza de cualquiera de los aspectos tcnicotcticos de este deporte.
