Lampenfieber als Alltagsphnomen, das zur Steigerung der Leistung bei einem Auftritt beitragen kann, ist begrifflich von Auffhrungsangst zu trennen. Diese beeintrchtigt die Qualitt des Vortrags und geht mit Blockade der Kontrollfunktionen, Depersonalisation und somatischen Begleiterscheinungen einher. Die Phnomene werden vor dem Hintergrund einer psychoanalytischen Annherung an die Motive zum Auftritt vor Publikum und an die unbewut damit verbundenen Gefahren nher betrachtet. Wesentliche psychoanalytische Arbeiten zum Thema werden nach triebtheoretischen, objektbeziehungs und selbstpsychologischen Schwerpunkten geordnet kurz referiert und anhand eigener Fallvignetten illustriert. Weiterhin wird skizziert, da L. Wurmsers Konzept von Delophilie und Theatophilie geeignet ist, diese drei theoretischen Zugangsweisen zur Auftrittsangst zu integrieren. Am Ende wird unter klinischem Aspekt dafr pldiert, psychoanalytische Therapieanstze zur Behandlung von Auffhrungsangst, da sie, wie gezeigt, auf einer differenzierten Theorie zum Verstndnis der Phnomene basieren, nicht erst, wie aktuell wiederholt empfohlen, als ultima ratio in chronifizierten Fllen anzuwenden, sondern die Indikation hierfr bereits frhzeitig zu prfen.
