Dem Verfasser geht es darum, verschiedene Analyse und Gestaltungsinstrumente aus unterschiedlichen Bereichen der Betriebswirtschaftslehre, insbesondere der Finanzierungs und Entscheidungstheorie, fr die spezielle Entscheidungssituation der Bank in der Krise ihres Schuldners zusammenzutragen und so aufzubereiten, da ein sinnvoll strukturiertes und wissenschaftlich fundiertes Rahmenraster fr die Bankentscheidungen bereitgestellt wird. Die Besonderheit der Arbeit liegt in dem interdisziplinren Charakter. So werden wesentliche juristische Aspekte beleuchtet, und die Ergebnisse finden bei der wirtschaftlichen Entscheidung Bercksichtigung. Der in der Arbeit aufgezeigte Lsungsweg erscheint mindestens fr grere Problemengagements praktikabel und problemadquat. Es ist daher die Hoffnung des Verfassers, da mit Hilfe einer przisen Strukturierung des Entscheidungsproblems zuknftig "bessere" Bankentscheidungen mglich werden. Da der Autor eigene praktische Erkenntnisse und Erfahrungen bei der Erstellung der Untersuchung verwerten konnte, entstand mehr als eine wissenschaftliche Arbeit.
