Es ist Sommer in Nordspanien. Marina, Manuel und Pedro haben Ferien und treffen sich in ihrem neuen Baumhaus. Am liebsten wollen sie in den Ferien ein Abenteuer erleben. Fr den Anfang schauen sie im Reitstall vorbei und wollen sich die Fohlen ansehen. Sie werden vom Besitzer der Reitschule verjagt, beschlieen aber, sptabends erneut hinzugehen. Doch der Besuch gestaltet sich unerwartet. Sie beobachten auf Entfernung einen Diebstahl. Am darauffolgenden Tag ist auch noch ein Pferd verschwunden und die drei beschlieen spontan, den Dingen auf den Grund zu gehen. Marina und Pedro nehmen einen Job im Reitstall an, whrend Manuel auerhalb nach Hinweisen sucht. Der Dieb schlgt wieder zu, klaut eine wundervolle Stute und kurz danach noch ihr Fohlen. Weder die Freunde noch die Leiter der Reitschule oder die Polizei haben einen konkreten Verdacht und so hecken die Freunde einen gefhrlichen Plan aus.
