Es wird zunchst auf Grundlegendes zur Entwicklungszusammenarbeit eingegangen, wie beispielsweise auf die Entstehung der Entwicklungszusammenarbeit, die Geschichte deutscher Entwicklungszusammenarbeit, die Ziele und Manahmen sowie die Wirkung und Kritik an der Entwicklungszusammenarbeit, die Akteure der deutschen Entwicklungszusammenarbeit und die Partnerlnder der Bundesrepublik Deutschland. Anschlieend werden die Herausforderungen und Entwicklungstendenzen deutscher Entwicklungspolitik in Lateinamerika erlutert, wobei die Situation in Lateinamerika und allgemeine Informationen zur deutschen Entwicklungspolitik in Lateinamerika dargelegt werden. Im vierten Kapitel wird die Deutsche Gesellschaft fr Technische Zusammenarbeit GmbH insbesondere in Bezug auf ihre Ziele in Lateinamerika vorgestellt. Anschlieend folgt die Erfolgskontrolle deutscher Entwicklungszusammenarbeit. Im sechsten Kapitel wird das Problem der nachhaltigen Entwicklung behandelt, bevor im siebten Kapitel die Wirkung deutscher Entwicklungszusammenarbeit anhand von zwei ausgewhlten GTZProjektbeispielen in Lateinamerika aufgezeigt wird. Die Begriffe Entwicklungszusammenarbeit' und Entwicklungspolitik' werden in dieser Arbeit synonym verwendet.
