Ziel dieser Arbeit ist es, ausgewhlte Motive der BrandanLegende zu untersuchen und sie in einen Zusammenhang mit dem Vorkommen des jeweiligen Motivs in der Weltliteratur zu stellen. Die Verbreitung des jeweiligen Motivs steht im Mittelpunkt. Die motivgeschichtliche Untersuchung zeigt, da es zahlreiche anthropologisch angelegte Motive gibt. Sie entstehen unabhngig voneinander in verschiedenen Kulturen. Gleichfalls erscheinen aber auch Motive, die sich nur mit einer Wanderung des jeweiligen Motivs erklren lassen. Diese werden durch Kulturkontakte weitergegeben.About the AuthorDer Autor: Dominik Pietrzik wurde 1969 in Freiburg im Breisgau geboren. Er studierte von 1990 bis 1992 an der Universitt Bochum und von 1992 bis 1996 an der Universitt Hamburg Pdagogik, Germanistik und Geschichtswissenschaft mit dem Schwerpunkt Medivistik. Seit 1997 absolviert er den Vorbereitungsdienst fr das Lehramt an Hamburger Gymnasien; Promotion 1998.
