Bei geeigneter Standortwahl knnen darber hinaus durch den Einsatz einer Zwischenholding steuerliche Vorteile erzielt werden. Insbesondere in der EU hat sich seit geraumer Zeit ein ausgeprgter Wettbewerb der Staaten um den steuergnstigsten Holdingstandort entwickelt. Mit dem Standortsicherungsgesetz ist diesem nun auch Deutschland beigetreten. Nach einer ausfhrlichen Systematisierung der steuerlichen Ziele des Einsatzes einer Zwischenholding und der steuerlichen Restriktionen der Staaten, die diesen Zielen entgegenstehen knnen, beschftigt sich die Arbeit in umfassender Weise mit den steuerlichen Implikationen der Einschaltung einer Zwischenholding in Deutschland und zeigt Gestaltungsmglichkeiten zu deren steuerlichen Optimierung auf.
