Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2010 im Fachbereich Germanistik ltere Deutsche Literatur, Medivistik, Note: 2,0, RheinischWestflische Technische Hochschule Aachen, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Der rmische Dichter Vergil arbeitete im ersten Jahrhundert vor Christus an dem Versepos ,,Aeneis", das einen der Grndungsmythen Roms behandelt. In 12 Bchern wird das Schicksal des Trojaners Aeneas, Sohn der Venus, auf dem Weg nach Latium beschrieben. Aus seinem Geschlecht stammen Romulus und Remus, die in der Mythologie die Stadt Rom 753 v. Chr. gegrndet haben. Das berhmte Versepos erfuhr im Mittelalter zwei wichtige Adaptationen. Mitte des zwlften Jahrhunderts erschien der ,,Roman d'Enas" eines uns unbekannten Verfassers auf Altfranzsisch. Nur wenige Jahrzehnte spter versuchte sich auch der deutsche Dichter Heinrich von Veldeke an dem antiken Stoff.
