In Fortfhrung dieser Analysen untersucht Band IV ausgewhlte Aspekte der Konstruktion, der Funktionsweise und der Systemmngel der Wirtschaftsordnung des SEDStaates in einzelnen wirtschaftspolitischen Handlungsbereichen (u.a. Energiewirtschaft, Landwirtschaft und Auenwirtschaft) sowie in der Umwelt und Sozialpolitik. Dabei wird ausfhrlich auf die jeweiligen Programmziele der SEDFhrung, die erreichten Ergebnisse und die schwerwiegenden Folgen einer verfehlten Wirtschafts und Umweltpolitik eingegangen. Die Autoren des Bandes sind ausgewiesene Experten, die sich in ihren Aktivitten und Forschungen auf politischem und wissenschaftlichen Gebiet jahrzehntelang mit der DDR befat haben.
