Heinrich Oppermann, geboren 1934 in Kaposszekcs, Baranya, (Branau) Ungarn, umgesiedelt 1948 in die Ostzone Deutschlands. Grundschule und Molkereilehre in Bautzen (19491952), Hochschulreife an der ABF in Leipzig (19521955), Studium der Chemie an der THDresden (19551960), wissenschaftlicher Mitarbeiter am Zentralinstitut fr Festkrperphysik und Werkstoffforschung Dresden der ADW der DDR (19601984), Professor und Direktor fr Anorganische Chemie an der TUDresden bis 2000. ber 270 wissenschaftliche Publikationen, zahlreiche Patente und eine groe Zahl von Diplomanden, Doktoranden, Professoren, Frauen und Mnner in fhrenden Positionen, sind mit seinem wissenschaftlichen Leben und Werk verbunden. Aufsehen erregte er mit seinem Kosmosexperiment "Gasphasentransport" im Zusammenhang mit dem Weltraumflug von Sigmund Jhn, dem ersten Deutschen im All. Heinrich Oppermann schrieb und schreibt Geschichten, Erzhlungen und Gedichte, wovon einige in der "Neuen Zeitung" dem Ungarndeutschen Wochenblatt in Budapest und "Unsere Post", im Schwabenverlag Ostfildern, der Heimatzeitung der Deutschen aus Ungarn, erschienen sind.
