In der vergleichenden Lnderanalyse erfolgt die Auseinandersetzung mit der Ausgangsproblematik anhand der Untersuchung und Beantwortung folgender Fragen: Wie ist die derzeitige Bildungs und Arbeitsmarktsituation in Deutschland und Grobritannien und welche Fehlentwicklungen knnen erkannt werden? Wie fhren die Lnder Qualifikationsvorhersagen durch, um den zuknftigen Bedarf zu erkennen, und wo besteht noch Handlungsbedarf? Welche Forschungsergebnisse bezglich zuknftig erforderlicher beruflicher Kompetenzen und Qualifikationen liegen fr Deutschland und Grobritannien vor? Wie kann der Staat die Prognoseergebnisse nutzen, um Bildungs und Arbeitsmarktmanahmen effektiv umzusetzen, und welche Konsequenzen haben diese Ergebnisse fr politisches Handeln? About the Author Anja Horn, Jahrgang 1980, absolvierte zunchst ein Studium der DiplomVerwaltungswirtschaft in Berlin und ist nun im ffentlichen Dienst ttig. Nach einer Auszeit in Australien und Neuseeland studierte sie im Fernstudium Europisches Verwaltungsmanagement und schloss dieses 2009 erfolgreich mit dem Master of Arts ab. Im Rahmen des Fernstudiums absolvierte sie ein Praktikum bei der Europavertretung der Bundesagentur fr Arbeit in Brssel und lernte hierbei erstmals die Thematik des Buches und die verschiedenen Diskussionspunkte innerhalb der Europischen Union ber zuknftig erforderliche Kompetenzen im Berufsleben kennen. Dies motivierte sie zu einer vergleichenden Studie der Qualifikationserfordernisse in Deutschland und Grobritannien.
