Wie er die literarischen Figuren konstruiert, oder wie er seine Konzeption vom Funktionieren der Geschichte umsetzt, zeigt die Komplexitt seiner dargestellten Welt. In seinem umfangreichen Werk, Der Mann ohne Eigenschaften, fhrt Robert Musil eine sehr kontroverse Figur ein Moosbrugger, der Prostituiertenmrder. Das Moosbruggerproblem steht unter dem dreifachen Gesichtspunkt der Zurechnungsfhigkeit, des Alleinseins der Individualitt und der Schwierigkeit der Querschnitte.' Ziel meiner Arbeit ist, diese Figur einer textnahen Analyse zu unterziehen und damit verschiedene Sichtpunkte, die in der Sekundrliteratur vertreten sind, in den Vordergrund zu bringen Fred Lnker und Robert Krause bestimmen die Zentralpositionen, mit denen ich mich auseinandersetzen werde. Indem ich das Verhltnis von Sprache, Ordnung und Gewalt darstelle, mchte ich Wirklichkeitsauflsung, Identittsverlust und Gewalt als Phnomene prsentiert, die Ordnung und Sinn rekonstruieren. An einer textnahen Untersuchung des Kapitels Heimweg, mchte ich anschlieen, dass der einheitliche Zustand zwischen Innen und Auenwelt, den Ulrich begehrt, nur im Falle der Geisteskrankheit erreicht werden kann. Geisteskrankheit soll demzufolge nicht einem pathologischen Verhalten entsprechen, sondern soll als Versuch, der modernen Sinnkrise zu entkommen, wahrgenommen werden Zunchst mchte ich Moosbruggers Aufkommen kurz skizzieren und erst danach auf die Ordnungsproblematik eingehen.
