Dies unterscheidet sie zum Beispiel von der Montessori Pdagogik. Vielen Kindern bleibt der Besuch einer MontessoriSchule versagt, da sich nicht alle Eltern die teure Privatschule leisten knnen. Freinet aber hat sich gegen die Grndung einer elitren Privatschule nach freinetpdagogischen Unterrichtsmethoden ausgesprochen. Er wollte eine Schule des Volkes" errichten, um Kindern ohne Bercksichtigung ihrer sozialen und ethnischen Hintergrnde auch behinderten Kindern gleich gute Chancen auf Bildung zu gewhrleisten. Freinet engagierte sich stark fr sozial Benachteiligte. Seine Vorbilder, an denen er sich orientierte waren andere, teilweise bekannte Reformpdagogen, wie z.B. Rousseau, Pestalozzi, Montessori, Petersen oder Steiner. Freinet hingegen ist eher ein unbekannter Pdagoge, der aber einen sehr brauchbaren Steinbruch" fr alternative Lernformen bietet. Diese Lernformen betitelt Freinet schlicht als Arbeitstechniken" und eben nicht als FreinetPdagogik" oder FreinetMethoden". Was aber genau die FreinetPdagogik kennzeichnet soll in dieser Arbeit untersucht werden. Die FreinetPdagogik ist sehr vielfltig in ihren Ausprgungen, weshalb hier nur ihre wichtigsten Grundstze, Arbeitstechniken und Ziele aufgezeigt werden sollen. Zuerst mchte ich den Lebensweg Freinets aufzeigen, anschlieend die pdagogischen Grundstze mit Arbeitstechniken und einigen Arbeitsmaterialien vorstellen, um am Schluss nochmals stichwortartig die Ziele zu verdeutlichen.
