Macht doch bereits die Bezeichnung dmonisch' deutlich, dass diese Formen des Glaubens nur noch wenig mehr mit dem biblischen Gott zu tun haben. Dmonische Gottesbilder' fordern aber auch dazu heraus, zu untersuchen wie Gottesbilder heilende oder therapeutische Wirkung erlangen. Das in der Seelsorge aufgegriffene Konzept der klientenzentrierten Gesprchspsychotherapie nach dem amerikanischen Psychologen Carl R. Rogers knnte eine Grundlage dafr bieten. Da Rogers in besonderer Weise davon ausgeht, dass das Beziehungsangebot des Therapeuten an seinen Klienten fr den therapeutischen Prozess von ausschlaggebender Bedeutung ist, kann auch die These aufgestellt werden, dass das Beziehungsangebot Gottes an die Menschen bestimmten Prinzipien folgen muss, um seine heilende Kraft entfalten zu knnen. Dieser These geht der Autor Arbeit in mehreren Schritten eingehend nach: Am Anfang steht eine Klrung der Grundzge der klientenzentrierten Gesprchspsychotherapie, wie sie Carl Rogers auf dem Boden der Humanistischen Psychologie entwickelt hat. Dabei steht im Mittelpunkt, welchen Prinzipien die Beziehung Therapeut Klient in diesem Konzept folgen muss.
