Ziel der Arbeit ist es, diese drei Lnder in ihren verschiedenen Ausprgungen der Familienpolitik gegenberzustellen und zu analysieren. Dabei wird vor allem auf die monetren Leistungen und die Manahmen zur besseren Vereinbarkeit von Familie und Beruf eingegangen. Aber auch die gesellschaftliche und politische und ideologische Haltung und Einstellung in den drei Vergleichsstaaten zur Kinderbetreuung und Kinderbetreuungseinrichtungen wird beleuchtet. Ausgehend von der historischen Entwicklung der familienpolitischen Traditionen werden diese in ein Raster unterschiedlicher Wohlfahrtsstaatskonzeptionen eingeordnet. Weiters werden die Hauptentwicklungen und Vernderungen der verschiedenen Familienpolitiken in den drei Staaten von den 90er Jahren bis heute beleuchtet.
