In diesem Buch wird auf Grundlage der soziologischen Organisationstheorie Niklas Luhmanns eine ber zwei Jahre begleitete Intervention zur Vernderung von Zusammenarbeitskultur reflektiert. Gegenstand ist ein als Fhrungskrfteinitiative bezeichnetes Organisations und Teamentwicklungsprojekt eines Automobilkonzerns. Es wird die Frage gestellt, wie eine als Komplex unentscheidbarer Entscheidungsprmissen definierte Zusammenarbeitskultur damit umgeht, dass paradoxerweise doch ber sie entschieden wird. Als empirische Einzelfallstudie wird herausgearbeitet, wie sich Fhrungskrfte im Kontext der Wirtschaftskrise mit gesetzten Bezugsproblematiken ihrer spezifischen Kooperationsformen auseinandersetzen. Der Verlauf der Intervention wird in einem qualitativ angelegten Forschungsdesign rekonstruiert. Eine Vielzahl von Feldbeobachtungen und Experteninterviews bilden die Grundlage fr Erkenntnisse ber zeitliche, sachliche und soziale Konsequenzen der Initiative. Typische und aussagekrftige Zitate illustrieren praxisnah, dass bei intendierter Vernderung eines komplexen sozialen Systems nichtintendierte Folgen eher die Regel als die Ausnahme sind. Erkenntnisse aus der Studie werden abschlieend als generalisierende Einsichten fr das Human Resource Management und die Organisationsberatung resmiert.
