Product Description Die RotGrne Minderheitsregierung in NordrheinWestfalen scheiterte nach knapp zwei Jahren berraschend im Mrz 2012. Der Dsseldorfer Landtag lehnte bei der entscheidenden zweiten Haushaltslesung den Einzelplan fr das Innenministerium ab. Neben CDU und FDP verweigerte auch die Fraktion der Partei DIE LINKE ihre Zustimmung und bereitete so indirekt den Weg fr Neuwahlen im bevlkerungsreichsten Bundesland. Die Chancen fr DIE LINKE nach 2010 erneut in den Dsseldorfer Landtag einzuziehen, stehen nicht sehr gut. Betrachtet man die Situation Ende April 2012 innerhalb der Bundespartei DIE LINKE und erinnert sich an die Hintergrnde der Fusion von WASG und PDS sowie die parteiinterne Hoffnung, dass mit dem Schritt der Fusion die stndige stabile Ausdehnung auf die alten Bundeslnder in greifbare Nhe rckt, muss man sich die Fragen stellen: Ist diese Expansion in die alten Bundeslnder und damit auf das gesamte Parteiensystem, also der Schritt von der ostdeutschen Regionalpartei hin zur Volkspartei gelungen? Oder sprechen vielmehr die letzten Landtagswahlergebnisse sowie die Mitgliederentwicklung nicht eher fr eine Stagnation der Entwicklung? Kernthema der vorliegenden Untersuchung ist die Analyse der Partei DIE LINKE in NordRheinWestfalen. Dazu wird insbesondere die Situation der Partei vor der vorgezogenen Landtagswahl 2012 untersucht. Anhand der Struktur und Organisationsmerkmale der Landespartei, ihrer Stellung im und zum politischen System sowie ihrer programmatischen Ziele und Inhalte wird diese parteientypologisch verortet. Vergleichend dazu werden die Erkenntnisse aus den bereits untersuchten Bundeslndern Hessen, RheinlandPfalz und dem Saarland genutzt, um zu analysieren, ob die Westausdehnung der Partei DIE LINKE gelungen ist, ob sie stagniert oder ob ihr Scheitern wahrscheinlich ist. About the Author Florian A. Reuther wurde 1981 in Wiesbaden geboren. Sein Studium der Politikwissenschaft, Germanistik und Pdagogik schloss er im Jahre 2012 erfolgreich ab. Den Arbeitsschwerpunkt in der Politikwissenschaft bildete dabei die Parteienforschung im bundesdeutschen Parteiensystem. Die Untersuchungsobjekte waren dabei vorrangig die Parteien DIE LINKE, FPD und die PIRATEN.
