Jetzt erscheinen jiihrlich etwa 1000 Arbeiten tiber biologische Rhythmen und damit zusammenhiingende biologische und medi zinische Probleme. Dieser groBe Informationszuwachs lieB eine Neubearbeitung gleichzeitig notwendig und gewagt erscheinen. Ich danke dem Verlag, daB er vor fast zwei Jahrzehnten auf das Wagnis eingegangen ist, angebliche Mystik als Wissenschaft anzusehen.
