Neuhaus Shne Calcar" beschreibt erstmalig die Chronik der Klavierbauer Neuhaus vom Beginn 1840 bis zum Einstellen des Betriebs 1919. Briefe in die Heimat" bieten einen kleinen Einblick in die Lebenssituation des ausgewanderten Familienzweiges in den schwierigen 1920er/30erJahren. Heinrich ist vielleicht der berhmteste Spross, jedoch zeichnet sich die ganze Familie Neuhaus durch eine beispiellose Liebe zur Musik und zur Familie aus, und bleibt in ihrer Kreativitt, Herzlichkeit und bewegenden Geschichte lange im Gedchtnis. About the Author Barbara Mhlenhoff, geb. 1980, studierte Musikwissenschaft, Germanistik und Pdagogik an der RuhrUniversitt Bochum (Abschluss Magistra Artium). Sie ist verheiratet, Mutter von drei Kindern und lebt mit ihrer Familie und zwei Hunden in Kalkar/Niederrhein.
