Ausgewertet werden Umfragedaten, Wahlprogramme, Gesetzestexte, Internetreporte usw. Der zeitliche Fokus liegt zwischen Herbst 2004 und Herbst 2007. Damit ist diese Arbeit zugleich eine aktuelle Darstellung der politischen Entwicklung der Ukraine in diesem Zeitraum, die besonders seit der Orangen Revolution auch fr den Westen von Interesse sein muss. Nach wie vor weisen die Parteien zahlreiche Defizite in der Funktionsfhigkeit auf, nehmen aber einen wichtigen und fr die Zukunft bestimmenden Platz im politischen System ein.About the AuthorDie Autorin: Cornelia Gls, geboren 1984, studierte Politikwissenschaft und Slawistik/Russisch an der Universitt Wien. Ihre Forschungsinteressen umfassen Parteien und politische Systeme Osteuropas sowie Literatur der russischen Emigration. Derzeit ist sie als Universittsassistentin am Institut fr Slawistik in Wien ttig.
