Diplomarbeit aus dem Jahr 2011 im Fachbereich Medizin Neurologie, Psychiatrie, Schte, , Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: Die Diplomarbeit entwirft zunchst einen allgemeinen berblick ber die psychiatrische Erkrankung der Posttraumatischen Belastungsstrung (PTBS engl. PTSD) im Sinne der Definition nach ICD 10 und DSM IV, beschreibt den Stand der Literatur nach Ursachen und Verlauf, Risikofaktoren, Prdiktoren sowie Komorbiditt des Krankheitsbildes. Schwerpunkt der Arbeit ist die kritische Analyse und Aufarbeitung der derzeitigen Diagnostik; als Beispiel zur Analyse von in publizierten Studien blichen Diagnosepraktiken, dient dabei der Harvard Trauma Questionnaire' (HTQ), das derzeit wichtigste interkulturell eingesetzte valide und sensitive Diagnoseinstrument. Dieses wurde entwickelt, um Folter, Trauma und die Erkrankung der PTBS bei Flchtlingen in Interview oder Fragebogenform, zu erfassen; dieser wird daher detailliert vorgestellt und besprochen. Im Rahmen einer umfassenden Literaturecherche wurde eine Auswertungsmatrix entwickelt und eine aus Standardliteraturdatenbanken gezogene Stichprobe publizierter Studien ber Kriegsopfer und Flchtlingspopulationen, die mit dem Harvard Trauma Questionnaire durchgefhrt wurden, in Bezug auf Ergebnisse, Erfahrungen mit dem Instrument, sowie beobachteten Problemen nach diesem systematischen Modell reanalysiert und verglichen. Aus den analysierten publizierten Studien bzw. Publikationen geht z.B. oft nicht hervor, ob und in welcher Weise der Fragebogen in der jeweiligen Version, kultursensitiv oder auch ereignisbezogen (unterschiedliche Kriegsereignisse unterschiedlicher Lnder) angepasst und validiert wurde. Die Tatsache, dass sich bestimmte Ereignisse in der einen Kultur in Bezug auf psychopathologische Erkrankungen, im besonderen der PTBS, pathogenetisch ussern, whrend diese in einer anderen Kultur nicht zu einer Erkrankung fhren, bedeutet, bei nicht adaptierten und standardisiert eingesetzten Fragebgen,
