Er scheut sich dabei auch nicht, politisch unbequeme Sichtweisen zu vertreten und ber den Tellerrand der reinen Epidemiologie hinauszublicken. Schlielich werden die bisherigen Erkenntnisse anhand eines eigenen empirischen Modells auf Basis des Soziokonomischen Panels (SOEP) berprft. Letztlich dreht sich alles um die Frage: Macht Armut krank, oder Krankheit arm? About the Author Thomas Peter wurde 1978 in Mettmann geboren. Er studierte in Wuppertal Wirtschaftswissenschaften und eignete sich dabei auch das Handwerkszeug der empirischen Sozialforschung an, das schlielich in sein erstes Buch einfloss. Whrend seines Studiums reiste er viel durch Europa, lernte mehrere Sprachen und interessierte sich stets auch fr andere wissenschaftliche Disziplinen, ohne dabei seine eigene zu vernachlssigen. Gegenwrtig arbeitet Thomas Peter an einer Laufbahn als Journalist. In seiner Freizeit baut er mit Leidenschaft Architekturmodelle.
