Lacher) Seit der ersten Verffentlichung zum Managementkonzept der Balanced Scorecard (BSC) im Jahr 1992 hat die BSC als Instrument zur Unternehmenssteuerung einen festen Platz in Seminaren und Kongressen gefunden. Nach einer lngeren Diskussion ber das Konzept haben Akzeptanz und Umsetzung in Unternehmen in den letzten Jahren stark zugenommen. Die Entwicklung einer ganzheitlichen EDVUntersttzung fr die BSC, welche letztlich die Voraussetzung fr eine erfolgreiche Einfhrung ist, steht allerdings noch am Anfang. In vielen Unternehmen wurde die BSC zwar bisher konzeptionell entwickelt, diese wurde aber EDVtechnisch meist nur teilweise bzw. mit OfflineWerkzeugen (z.B. MS Excel) umgesetzt. Viele Hersteller von Standardsoftware bieten bereits BSCKomponenten an. Diese sind aber hufig relativ starr und werden den individuellen Anforderungen der Unternehmen meist nicht in vollem Umfang gerecht. 1.1 Ziel der Arbeit Die vorliegende Arbeit soll einen berblick ber den Stand der Diskussion zur BSC liefern, wobei hauptschlich die EDVtechnische Umsetzung behandelt wird, da diese nach wie vor einen entscheidenden und lange vernachlssigten Aspekt fr eine erfolgreiche Einfhrung des Konzepts in einem Unternehmen darstellt. Diese SoftwareEvaluierung soll Schwachstellen bestehender Systeme aufzeigen. Genauer vorgestellt wird hierzu die Lsung der SAP AG.
