Aufgrund immer neuerer Versionen wurde die Verwirrung nur vergrert. Die mittlerweile dritte Fassung ist 2006 eingefhrt worden. Verbindlich ist sie aber nur fr Schulen und Behrden. Hier gilt es kritisch zu hinterfragen, welchen Sinn Orthographie und Grammatik im Deutschunterricht noch haben. Sind diese Formen der Leistungsmessung noch zeitgem? Das Diktat ist eine der gebruchlichsten und umstrittensten Formen dieser Leistungsmessung. Kritisiert wird dabei vor allem wird die Ergebnisorientierung. Zu fragen ist hier, ob es quivalente oder neuere Formen fr das Diktat gibt, die im Deutschunterricht bernommen werden knnen. Die Hauptfragestellung dieser Arbeit lautet, ob die Kritik an das Diktat gerechtfertigt ist und welche Ziele es erfllen kann. Fr eine Beantwortung dieser Frage wird im ersten Teil dieser Arbeit die Form und Rolle des herkmmlichen Diktates analysiert. Daran schliet sich eine Diskussion ber Diktate im Unterricht an. Im letzten Teil der Arbeit werden die Kritikpunkte am klassischen Diktat errtert. Dazu gehren die Vorstellung von alternativen Formen des Diktates und Modifikationen an der alten Form.
