La dimensin fractal ofrece una nueva alternativa para la descripcin de formas complejas, a partir de ella es posible calcular la dimensin fractal superficial y relacionarla con la dimensin fractal reactiva, obtenindose iinformacin concerniente a los sitios activos disponibles en la superficie durante la disolucin y a la morfologa de la partcula. Con este anlisis es posible comprender algunos fenmenos que ocurren en la superficie de las partculas durante su disolucin, evidenciar la presencia o ausencia de poros y explicar comportamientos atpicos. Este libro contiene conceptos tericos y ejemplos que permiten comprender o predecir comportamientos de disolucin relacionados con la superficie y el tamao de las partculas.
