In vielen Lndern wurde dies bereits unternommen, unter anderem auch in Schweden. Dort haben die Physiotherapeuten ihre Legitimitt als Profession innerhalb des Gesundheitssystems erlangt und tragen seit dem im Status eines First Contact Practitioners im Rahmen eines offenen Zuganges zu ihren Dienstleistungen zu einer bestmglichen Versorgung bei. Wie sich ein offener Zugang zur Physiotherapie entwickelte, welche Anforderungen dies auf die Therapeuten stellte und schlielich welchen Nutzen die Physiotherapie vor diesem Hintergrund fr das schwedische Gesundheitssystem hat, wird in der Arbeit dargestellt. Methodologische Einordnung des I, II und III Teils der Untersuchung Teil I: Die Studienlage und geschichtliche Entwicklung wurden im Rahmen einer Literaturrecherche und Expertengesprche herausgearbeitet. Teil II: (qualitativ) Um die Erfahrungswerte der schwedischen Physiotherapeuten zu gewinnen, wurde ein leitfadengesttztes Experteninterview mit 5 Therapeuten durchgefhrt. Es kam darauf an, die Prozessinhalte des DA zur Physiotherapie heraus zu kristallisieren und die damit verbundene Problematik aber auch die erarbeiteten Fortschritte darzulegen. Teil III: (quantitativ) Anschlieend wurde die Zufriedenheit der Patienten beurteilt. Als Instrument zur Gewinnung der Daten wurde ein aus zwei Items aufgebauter Fragebogen verwendet, der die Art und Weise des Zuganges zur Physiotherapie erfasste und die Zufriedenheit der Patienten darstellte.
