It's a really practical book, telling things such as which direction to go, where to stay, what to take and not take, when's the best time to do it, every known water source, where to expect to meet the bears and see the goats. This is one tough trail, and entails climbing well over 20,000 feet and descending another 20,000. You'll do enough climbing to have climbed Mount Rainier 21/2 times.
