En esta investigacin se analiza una tipologa de unin, cuyo detalle especfico de junta con bucle o lazo no se encuentra recogido en la actual Instruccin Espaola del Hormign Estructural EHE. Por otra parte, otros cdigos y normativas no contemplan este tipo de detalle de forma especfica. Los resultados de los ensayos realizados sobre la unin experimental muestran la viabilidad del sistema proyectado. El potencial de este tipo de unin radica en la facilidad y en la maniobrabilidad que presenta su uso en la construccin de viaductos, dotando de mejoras globales en la seguridad y salud de la obra. Por otro lado, su empleo aporta grandes ventajas relativas a la optimizacin del proceso constructivo: tiempos de ejecucin, ahorro de material, etc... Asimismo, esta solucin puede ser utilizada en otros sectores de la ingeniera estructural del hormign, tanto en obra civil como en edificacin.
