In der vorliegenden Arbeit wird auf Basis der weiterentwickelten Theorien analysiert, ob das P2PBanking fr den deutschen Bankenmarkt eine disruptive Bedrohung darstellt: Dabei handelt es sich um die Kreditvergabe von Privatperson zu Privatperson ber spezielle OnlineKreditmarktpltze. Dazu wird das PrognoseFramework von Keller und Hsig (2009) fr die vorliegende Arbeit zielfhrend erweitert. Weiterhin werden mgliche strategische Responses betrachtet. Die Untersuchung des deutschen Retailbanking, der Ursprnge des Social Banking und des Status quo im deutschen P2PBanking lenken den Fokus auf das Kreditgeschft. In diesem wird anhand einer neuen Kreditvergabetechnologie im P2PBanking die bestehende Bonittsanalyse vereinfacht und zum Teil komplett ersetzt. Aus der Analyse des disruptiven Potentials ergibt sich, dass die deutschen Anbieter Smava und Auxmoney beinahe alle Kriterien einer potenziellen Disruption erfllen. Fr die IncumbentGruppen Grobanken sowie Sparkassen und Genossenschaftsbanken besteht folglich disruptive Gefahr, die sie aufgrund ihrer Erfahrungen mit Disruptionen aber abwenden knnten. Dabei ist bei den Direktbanken aufgrund der Nhe zum P2PBanking ein geringerer Grad an Bedrohung zu sehen. Als einzig valide Response erscheint fr die untersuchten Incumbents die Kooptation, die fr die drei Gruppen in unterschiedlicher Form umzusetzen ist.
