Alongside the more established names, this crossgenerational anthology showcases some of the county's emerging and less wellknown voices the calibre of their work augers well for the future of women's writing in Ireland. We are particularly honoured to include work by two writers who were important voices in our literary and cultural worldAnne Kemiedy (19351998), and the recentlydeceased Briel Cummins, whose previously unpublished poems are printed here in her honour.
