Product DescriptionDivine Design is a 6week Bible study for women, taking a fresh look at Psalm 139. The purpose of the study is to help women discover and understand the unique and original way God has designed them. It examines the many ways God helps us know Him, and elevates our awareness of His presence in both everyday life, and in the midst of difficult circumstances. This study challenges us to find out how God has gifted us. A Spiritual Gift assessment, along with other explorations of our passions, abilities, personality types and experiences will provide insight into who we are from God's perspective. Each woman will complete a comprehensive individual profile which will give her a good picture of her special design. The hope is that this study will help provide the tools needed to make the most of every opportunity to live the life God created uniquely for us.About the AuthorBarb Miller is past Director of Women's Ministries at Community Presbyterian Church in Danville, California. She is currently enjoying writing teaching and speaking in the Northern California area. She has been married to her high school sweetheart, Joe, for 38 years, and they have 3 fabulous grown children, a daughterinlaw, soninlaw and an adorable granddaughter!! Barb has over 25 years of ministry experience holding such positions as Director of Fellowship Ministries, Worship Leader, Director of Children's Ministry, Teaching Leader to Mothers of Preschooler's and Choir Director. She taught vocal music at the elementary, junior and senior high levels for many years. Barb loves to worship, and enjoys bringing women into the presence of God through music, prayer and God's Word. She strives to encourage women in their walk with the Lord, and into finding their strengths, passions and purpose in life. She longs for women to see themselves through God's eyes as dearly loved, special and fearfully and wonderfully made. She feels that the difficult circumstances in her life have helped to strengthen her faith and to teach her to depend on God, rather than herself. Her life verse is Romans 15:13: 'May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him, so that you may overflow with hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.'
