Fr die Geschlechterverhltnisse ein Bereich, in dem Macht' einen ich tun bedeutende Rolle spielt kann etwa die Tendenz einer Naturalisierung' von Asymmetrien beobachtet werden. Kapitel II beschftigt sich daher mit der Frage, wie GeschlechterforscherInnen unter Bezugnahme auf Kriterien wie Differenz' bzw. Gleichheit' dieses Argument zu entkrften versuchten. Anschlieend wird in Kapitel III das Konzept doing gender vorgestellt, das die Alternative vorschlgt, die Herstellungsprozesse der Kategorie Geschlecht zu analysieren, um die Entstehung von (Un)Gleichheiten nachvollziehen zu knnen. In Kapitel IV werden unterschiedliche methodologische Zugnge zu diesem Ansatz errtert, um dessen Perspektiven aufzuzeigen. Kapitel V verweist auf den Zusammenhang zwischen der Konstruktion von Geschlecht, Klassifikation und Asymmetrie, und in Kapitel VI soll schlielich untersucht werden, wie es mglich ist, dass dieses Systems eine Wirkmchtigkeit entfalten und beibehalten kann.
