He soon realizes he has an unusual gift of hearing messages within the island breezes, messages that he subsequently delivers to those who come upon his bottle. Through these messages, Dibs and his parrot help the bottle finders rid themselves of the vices that have shackled their souls. This humorous, delightfully bawdy yet sentimental, wiseass story is told through comic verse and is brought forth in a series of shortstory volumes. In this first volume, the beginning of the Dibs's journey unfolds. He learns of his gift (fate); finds the means to sail the glass; befriends a Renaissance jouster with a puny stick; helps a mad scientist create the perfect margarita; and brings joy to three tiki gods whose lives could best be described as just an old fad with a fade.About the AuthorRose McVice is a worldclass beachcomber with a knack for rhyme.
