About the Author Adam Zagajewski (Lvov, actualmente Ucrania, 1945) es una de las ms relevantes voces contemporneas. En 1982 se exili a Pars y posteriormente a Estados Unidos, donde actualmente es profesor de la Universidad de Chicago. De su produccin potica destacan Ir a Lvov (1985), Lienzo (1990), Tierra del fuego (1994; Acantilado, 2004), Deseo (1997; Acantilado, 2005), Anhelo (1999), Regreso (2003) y Antenas (2005), estos dos ltimos recopilados tambin en Acantilado bajo el ttulo Antenas (2007). Entre sus libros de ensayo se encuentran Dos ciudades (1995; Acantilado, 2006), En defensa del fervor (2002; Acantilado, 2005) y Solidaridad y soledad (1982; Acantilado, 2010). Acantilado publicar prximamente su libro de poemas Mano invisible (2009), traducido tambin por Xavier Farr.
