A pesar del tiempo transcurrido, an planea el fantasma de la guerra civil, y muchos de sus planteamientos siguen de plena actualidad: la dependencia econmica femenina, los abusos de poder, y la apata que conlleva la falta de horizontes.Y todo ello plasmado en dos grandes temas: esa pequea ciudad y el vino, elemento omnipresente de relacin entre las personas, las cosas y el paisaje.Dos das de setiembre contribuy de manera poderosa a renovar el panorama narrativo espaol a comienzos de la dcada de los sesenta del siglo XX.
