First published in 1927, this autobiography was written in collaboration with O.B.Keeler, Jones' righthand man on the tournament circuit. It focuses particularly on some of the key moments in Jones' playing career, describing the successes and disappointments that greeted him. The book is an insight into the sport during the early decades of the 20th century, drawing on personal anecdotes and characterizations of golfing personalities to recreate the atmosphere of the period.
