This guide has some nice tips for drawing realistic horses, but I found some sections a bit rushed. The projects in acrylics and oils are nice, but I wish there were more examples in pencil. It’s still a decent book if you're looking to improve your skills.

Perfect for aspiring artists!
I picked up this book for my son who is interested in art. The realistic horse drawing projects are well laid out, and he enjoys switching between pencils, acrylics, and oils. It’s really boosted his confidence in his artwork!

Not what I hoped for
I really struggled with this book. While it has potential, the instructions were not clear in some parts. I had a hard time getting the pencil techniques down, and the acrylic projects were tougher than I anticipated. Disappointed overall.
