Mehr Verstndnis zu schaffen fr die doch so unterschiedlichen Lebenswelten behinderter Personen und der Experten, denen eine zentrale Erfahrung fehlt: Wie es ist von anderen Personen abhngig zu sein. Schon jetzt, beim Schreiben dieser Zeilen, bemerke ich den Fehler, ganz im Stil der Gesellschaft den Begriff Behinderter" zu benutzen. Jeder Mensch, so ist es im Grundgesetz verankert, ist ein Individuum, weshalb ich auch keinesfalls meine persnlichen Erfahrungen vollumfnglich auf andere behinderte Menschen bertragen mchte oder kann. Dennoch ist es erwiesen, da behinderte Menschen grtenteils hnliche Erfahrungen in Bezug auf Fremdbestimmung in verschiedenen Variationen machen. Sollten Sie von diesem Buch eine GuteNachtLektre erwarten, haben Sie Ihr Geld falsch angelegt: Meine Mhen, die Gedanken in Schrift zu fassen, wren vergebens. Diese Lektre soll Menschen zu einer neuen Art des Denkens motivieren. Weiter erhoffe ich mir davon einen Prozess anzustoen, der zur berprfung der jeweiligen Haltungen in diversen Einrichtungen fhrt: Schulen, Hochschulen, Sozialverbnde, Kirchen und alle Institutionen in Deutschland, die sich weitestgehend mit Behinderung auseinandersetzen, mchte ich dazu anregen, ihre Positionen zu berdenken und mglicherweise zu revidieren.
