Hoffmann, 9 Quellen im Literaturverzeichnis, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: In dieser Arbeit sollen jeweils ein Werk von zwei wichtigen Knstlern dargestellt und mit einander verglichen werden: E.T.A. Hoffmanns Novelle Don Juan und W.A. Mozarts Oper Don Giovanni. Beide behandeln das gleiche und in der Geschichte oft vorkommende Thema eines Verfhrers, der jedoch bei verschiedenen Autoren verschiedener Nationen nicht nur anders genannt, sondern auch aus vielen unterschiedlichen Perspektiven betrachtet wird. Zunchst soll einen berblick ber die verschiedenen Bearbeitungen des DonJuanThemas der letzten Jahrhunderte gegeben werden, wobei nur eine kleine Auswahl der besonders zahlreichen Versionen dargestellt werden kann. Der dritte Abschnitt konzentriert sich auf Mozart und die Entstehung seiner Don Giovanni. Danach kommen wir zu Hoffmann und seiner Beziehung zur Musik, wobei nicht nur seine literarischen Werke, sondern auch seine musikalischen in dem Mittelpunkt stehen. Der fnfte Abschnitt gilt als Hauptteil der Arbeit, wo die Inhalte beider Werke miteinander verglichen werden sollen. Es wird untersucht, wie Hoffmann in seiner Novelle Mozarts Oper darstellt und neu interpretiert, indem er beispielsweise bestimmte Teile der Oper weglsst. Die mglichen Grnde dafr werden erlutert und Hoffmanns Interpretation von den Rollen des Don Giovanni und der Donna Anna, sowie die Beziehung zwischen diesen Charakteren werden diskutiert. Am Schluss werden die Einflsse erwhnt, die Hoffmanns Novelle auf nachfolgende Bearbeitungen des Don JuanStoffs ausgebt hat.
