Considered by many collectors as the 'Bible' of collecting, Metz's Early American Pattern Glass has been dubbed the 'only book needed to buy, sell, or collect.' Nine hundred black and white photographs of approximately 1,500 patterns from Aberdeen to Zephyr are shown. Clear pictures, authoritative reproduction information, uses, rarities, bargain patterns, plate numbers from standard texts, and accurate indexing are provided. The original format and commentary have been left intact, and updated information has been supplied where appropriate. Collectors will be pleased with the resurrection of this essential guide to early American pattern glass.
