The effectiveness of a schoolbased cognitive behavioral program in analyzing the relationship of anger and social skill behaviors in a small sample of 912 year old students is evaluated. Eighty students in grades four, five, and six completed a 12week anger intervention program. The Children?s Inventory of Anger and the Social Skills Rating System were used as the pretest and posttest. Pearson?s coefficient correlation paired samples and unpaired samples ttest was used to evaluate the correlation?s and possible significant differences between pretest and posttest scores. Results and limitations of the research design are discussed and recommendations for additional research are provided.
