This work examines the knowledge base and creative skill sets required by the rapidly changing dynamics of our Creative Age and how these changes are impacting workforce development and educational methodology. Research has been conducted regarding the economic dynamics of the Creative Age as well as the workforce capabilities desired by employers in our 21st Century global economy. With creative characteristics such as innovativeness, originality, flexibility, and adaptability noted as the main qualities desired in workers of today, educational models based on creativity are examined in order to propose changes in U.S. educational methodology. The methodology for a hypothetical educational model is theorized where creativity guides all learning processes alongside academic subjects that are interconnected through concepts. Recognized as only an ideal, this initial methodology may, however, be the first step in the process of developing an educational model that combines intelligence and creativity in a way that not only meets the needs of our rapidly changing economy but also ensures that the learning capacity of all students is developed to its fullest potential.
