The current study is an experimental assessment of the relationship between motivation, mental fatigue and performance. It investigates whether the personality trait of need for achievement (Maslow)has any moderator effect on this relationship. The framework for this study was provided mainly by the study of aftereffects of fatigue and partially by the Hockey's Compensatory Control Model.
